OUR STORE
 Georgette’s storefront is located at 311 Conant Street in Historic Uptown Maumee, Ohio. The store is just minutes away from our parent company, Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, a large non-profit agency providing residential and related services to people with developmental disabilities in our region.
Sunshine started Georgette’s Grounds & Gifts as an offshoot of our supported employment program. The Maumee store provides jobs for 15 individuals with developmental disabilities who work as coffee roasters, servers, dishwashers, food preparers and clerks in our gift shop.
Our retail storefront has two components: a coffee shop serving fair trade coffees, teas, espresso drinks, smoothies, baked goods and light lunches and a gift shop selling fair trade handicrafts from artisans around the world. If you are in the Maumee area, we invite you to visit our store and say “hello” to our hardworking staff, have a cup of fresh roasted coffee and browse our unique selection of international gifts.
