Learn a bit about this month's featured artist: Lisa Walker from Maumee, OH!
In the spring of 2022, Lisa attended a church fundraiser painting class taught by local award-winning artist Kati Kleimola and discovered, to her surprise, that she actually had the ability to make art.
After literally hundreds of hours glued to YouTube tutorials, she finally began putting paint on canvases later that fall. In only her first three years, Lisa sold around 50 paintings and has gifted as many.
Ms. Walker balances her painting with a reflexology practice, creative cooking, and caring for her granddaughters who live nearby.
